About Us

William Pye was set up in 1958 by William Pye Snr. primarily as a landscaping contractor working for Government departments, Health Establishments and Ministry of Defence.

 

The scope of work together with the amount of work dictated that extra staff were required and soon the small family concern grew to involve several employees, administrators, machinery and vehicles.

 

In 1974 the business was registered as a Limited Company and has now been trading for over 45 years.

 

From Small agricultural type vehicles and equipment and small contracting work the company now operates from purpose built premises in Longridge, Preston, employs in excess of 35 people and carries out a wide variety of work Including Civil Engineering, Public and Urban Renewal works.

 

William Pye Limited is proud of its workmanship and prides itself on the quality of finish thus encouraging continual growth.
